It is very important to create a budget before planning any trip. This way, you can evaluate when to take days off at work (or plan your trip during holidays if you are at school) and how much money will be needed. I did this budget plan with approximated numbers, as it is always preferable to bring at least 500$ more in case of any casualties.
I used real numbers for Airbnb as mine was 51$/night for an entire apartment (pretty cheap)!
